Title: Senior Manager/Manager_Operations Department
Key Responsibilities
1. Trade and Portfolio Operations Support
- Perform trade execution checking, confirmation, settlement and reconciliation for securities and fund transactions
- Handle daily operational matters with custodians, brokers, banks and fund administrators
- Conduct daily / monthly cash and position reconciliations
- Monitor and process corporate actions, dividends, interest, fees and expense bookings
- Support NAV calculation and reconciliation with fund administrators (for Type 9 activities)
- Assist in client onboarding, including KYC, CDD, EDD, CRS and documentation updates
- Ensure all client data complies with AML / CTF and SFC regulatory requirements
- Handle client instructions, fund transfers, trade orders and enquiries
- Maintain proper client and transaction records in accordance with record‑keeping requirements
- Work closely with Compliance and Responsible Officers (RO) on:
- SFC enquiries
- Periodic regulatory reporting and filings
- Internal and external audits
- Support compliance monitoring and internal control processes
- Assist in ensuring operational processes comply with:
- Securities and Futures Ordinance (SFO)
- Code of Conduct
- Fund Manager Code of Conduct (where applicable)
- Establish, update and implement operational policies and procedures (SOPs)
- Assist in identifying operational risks and recommending improvement measures
- Perform daily operational checks to ensure proper segregation of duties
- Support operational setup for new products, funds or business initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related discipline
- 4–8 years of operations or middle/back‑office experience in financial institutions (depending on seniority)
- Familiar with operational workflows for SFC Type 1 / 4 / 9 regulated activities
- Experience in asset management firms, securities houses or hedge funds is an advantage
- Strong knowledge of Hong Kong regulatory requirements and market practices
- Detail‑oriented, responsible and able to work under tight deadlines
- Good communication skills with proficiency in both written Chinese and English

Manager / Senior Manager, Trust Middle Office
Key Responsibilities
• Support the end-to-end execution and administration of family trusts, corporate trusts, ESOP/EBT structures and other fiduciary arrangements.
• Coordinate trust setup processes, including client onboarding, due diligence, account opening, documentation execution, asset injection, funding arrangements and post-establishment administration.
• Review client profiles, transaction background and due diligence materials, and work with Compliance / KYC teams to ensure all onboarding requirements are completed in a timely manner.
• Liaise with clients, lawyers, tax advisers, banks, brokers, corporate service providers and internal stakeholders on trust establishment and ongoing administration matters.
• Prepare, review and maintain trust-related documents, internal approval papers, checklists, operation manuals, case records and client files.
• Monitor trust lifecycle events, including distributions, changes of parties, amendments to trust structures, account updates, asset transfers and ongoing servicing requests.
• Assist in handling corporate trust and employee incentive trust matters, including ESOP trust implementation, participant-related administration and coordination with listed or pre-IPO corporate clients.
• Work closely with front office / relationship teams to translate client needs into executable trust solutions and ensure operational feasibility before onboarding.
• Participate in internal process enhancement initiatives, including SOP development, workflow optimization, control improvement and service standardization.
• Support internal and external audits, periodic reviews, compliance monitoring and regulatory / policy-related projects where required.
• Conduct research on trust, fiduciary and related market developments (including regulatory changes such as Listing Rules amendments and treasury stock regulations), and help translate findings into internal process updates, professional publications and client solutions.
• Contribute to cross-functional projects and new business initiatives relating to family wealth planning, fiduciary product enhancement, trust platform expansion and channel partner development.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Business, Finance, Law, Accounting or other relevant disciplines; a postgraduate qualification is preferred.
• Around 2–5 years of relevant experience in trust, fiduciary services, private wealth, family office, corporate services or related financial services functions.
• Practical experience in family trust, corporate trust, ESOP/EBT, trust administration or trust implementation is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with client onboarding, customer due diligence / KYC, trust documentation and execution workflow.
• Good understanding of fiduciary services, trust structures and the operational requirements of trust setup and ongoing administration.
• Able to manage multiple transactions and stakeholders simultaneously with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Strong interpersonal and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively across business, compliance, legal and operations teams.

- Develop and maintain relationships with institutional clients, specifically focusing on the offshore subsidiaries of major Chinese financial institutions (including banks, securities firms, and insurers).
